It was wonderful seeing the great turnout at Jones Beach on October 4th for the Autism Speaks Walk! Over 25,000 walking for the cause, and now that the statistics are at "1 in every 100 (or less) children," the urgency is that much greater!

It was a great day with fun activities for the children, free snacks and drinks for all, and information booths with helpful resources for children and families.

The warm weather also made it a beautiful day at Jones Beach in the fall - and the ACE office staff and a few hearty teachers came out to show their support. ACE will be matching the teacher and family donations, and next year we hope to have an even bigger turnout.

Hopefully, some day we won't need a Walk for Autism!

The Accelerated Childhood Education Annual Rules & Regulations Meeting was held at the Village Club of Sands Point on October 22nd. We are happy that most of our Independent Contractors were present to participate in discussions about City and State initiatives, as well as ACE?s own internal procedures. The meeting was a resounding success!
