Boy, times are changing and for the better!
Earlier today, I was looking at my E-mail and noticed several events and vacation packages for children with special needs.

Ski packages, surfing groups and other activities are now available for families of children with special needs. Cruise packages that may be geared to our population and more!!!

The times are changing! Lately not a week goes by with out another article in the news devoted to autism!!

The world is waking up to the prevalence of this disability and none to soon. Of course, advances can never come fast enough but compared to even 5 years ago, the difference in public awareness is startling!

Of course, we still have a long way to go in discovering more about the cause or rather causes, but science is progressing and we can be hopeful.

For Parents and professionals in this field, hope is very important and lately I am feeling very hopeful!
