A C E Director's Note

Wonderful movies on Autism! Please see!

There are a few interesting, recent movies depicting the experience of those on the spectrum that might be worth watching!

The new Temple Grandin film was incredible! This is a wonderful movie that any parent, family member, person on the spectrum, and/or professional would find fascinating. Her intelligence, and perseverance at a time when no one understood Autism, as well as the depiction of her mother and aunt who were both heroes, was inspirational!

Another movie of interest is Adam, a recent movie. It is about a young single man who lived a sheltered life and who had Asperger's Syndrome. It is an interesting story that I feel depicts his anxiety and social difficulties well.

Enjoy Watching!

Sincerely,
   Sue Lerner

ACE Annual Rules & Regulations Meeting

The Accelerated Childhood Education Annual Rules & Regulations Meeting was held at the Village Club of Sands Point on October 22nd. We are happy that most of our Independent Contractors were present to participate in discussions about City and State initiatives, as well as ACE's own internal procedures. The meeting was a resounding success!

Sincerely,
